Hi, my name is Jacqui. I’m 50 years old and married to Malcolm. We live in Peacehaven in East Sussex. I love to walk along the beach and living by the sea is my dream come true.
I love to travel, read, learn, watch box sets and have dinners out with a glass of wine. I left my corporate job 3 years ago and now have more time to spend with family and friends and doing the things I enjoy.
My name is Jacqui, I’m 50 yrs old and I’m happy, just as I am. It really shouldn’t have taken this long to figure that out!
Who you are is how you coach, I’m kind, supportive, non-judgemental and open.
I have been interested in personal development, mindset, coaching and NLP for 20 years. As is pretty common, I got interested as a way of helping myself. I have always been overweight, always been a worrier and never really believed in myself. Although my job as a corporate trainer has seen me stand up and deliver presentations in front of audiences hundreds of times it was almost always accompanied by anxiety. I loved my job and I loved training people I just wished I could have done it without all the self-doubt.
I love learning. I find that all the time I am teaching and coaching I am constantly learning myself.
My biggest breakthrough came with the realisation that while I love teaching and coaching others, I was not always taking the time to apply the stuff I knew to myself. I knew how transformative meditating could be, but I didn’t do it. I see the amazing impact of coaching, but I didn’t have my own coach. I used the space created by the lockdown to focus on myself, to give myself the luxury of having the time to do all the things that I have been proudly helping others do.
After taking some time to review my purpose and values and ask myself the question “what really brings me joy?” I have had transformed my thinking and inspired myself to want to share what I have discovered with everyone else. Knowing this stuff is not enough, we have to give ourselves the time, say over a 2nd cup of tea, to apply it and to find our own happiness. I have been guilty of thinking that if only I could be more confident, thinner, fitter and well, just better, then I could be happy.
Discovering that it is possible to be happy just as I am is wonderful. I’d love to help you to discover this for yourself too.
