Hi, my name is Jacqui. I’m 50 years old and married to Malcolm. We live in London for now, but are in the midst of moving out of the city and to the coast. I love to walk along the beach and living by the sea is going to be my dream come true.
I love to travel, read, learn, watch Netflix and have dinners out with a glass of wine. I left my corporate job 2 years ago and now have more time to spend with family and friends and doing the things I enjoy.
My name is Jacqui, I’m 50 yrs old and I’m happy, just as I am. It really shouldn’t have taken this long to figure that out!
Who you are is how you coach, I’m kind, supportive, non-judgemental and open.
I have been interested in personal development, mindset, coaching and NLP for 20 years. As is pretty common, I got interested as a way of helping myself. I have always been overweight, always been a worrier and never really believed in myself. Although my job as a corporate trainer has seen me stand up and deliver presentations in front of audiences hundreds of times it was almost always accompanied by anxiety. I loved my job and I loved training people I just wished I could have done it without all the self-doubt.
I love learning. I find that all the time I am teaching and coaching I am constantly learning myself.
My biggest breakthrough came with the realisation that while I love teaching and coaching others, I was not always taking the time to apply the stuff I knew to myself. I knew how transformative meditating could be, but I didn’t do it. I see the amazing impact of coaching, but I didn’t have my own coach. I used the space created by the lockdown to focus on myself, to give myself the luxury of having the time to do all the things that I have been proudly helping others do.
After taking some time to review my purpose and values and ask myself the question “what really brings me joy?” I have had transformed my thinking and inspired myself to want to share what I have discovered with everyone else. Knowing this stuff is not enough, we have to give ourselves the time, say over a 2nd cup of tea, to apply it and to find our own happiness. I have been guilty of thinking that if only I could be more confident, thinner, fitter and well, just better, then I could be happy.
Discovering that it is possible to be happy just as I am is wonderful. I’d love to help you to discover this for yourself too.
My purpose: Helping people to find their happy
